Beijing Ditan Hospital's Neuroscience Research Achievements Collaboration Project Signed at Zhongguancun Forum

Recently, the 2025 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Meeting—Zhongguancun International Technology Trade Conference was held in Beijing. This year's conference, themed "Technology Trade Empowers New Quality Productive Forces," deeply connected innovation clusters such as the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone. It brought together over a dozen national technology innovation centers, more than 40 international professional technology transfer and commercial organizations, over 120 global and domestic universities and research institutions, as well as numerous venture capital firms, scientific research institutions, and other innovation entities to discuss the global development of technology trade.
More than 1,700 global innovation projects converged here, with the Zhongguancun Medical Device Achievement Transformation Platform hosting over 200 projects, deeply driving the aggregation of resources to accelerate technology commercialization and industrial upgrading. At the Key Achievements Release and Supply-Demand Matchmaking Session—the Medical Device Industry Special Session, the Neurological Medical Center of Beijing Ditan Hospital and Beijing Nuoshan Technology Co., Ltd. participated in the project signing ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, Dr. Zhang Hong, representing the Neurological Medical Center of Beijing Ditan Hospital, and a representative from Beijing Nuoshan Technology Co., Ltd. signed the project agreement. This collaboration, led by the Neurological Medical Center of Beijing Ditan Hospital, integrates multidisciplinary expertise in biomedical engineering and clinical medicine. Through partnership with Beijing Institute of Technology and Beijing Nuoshan Technology Co., Ltd., the project will enhance end-to-end capabilities—from material development and device packaging to clinical translation. It aims to unlock multi-dimensional collaboration potential between hospitals and enterprises in applied research, foster interdisciplinary innovation, and accelerate the transformation of high-quality R&D achievements into real-world applications.
Project Title: "Real-Time Electrolyte Diagnostic Analyzer for Diabetes Insipidus Patients Based on Minimally Invasive Sensor Detection Technology"
Addressing the clinical challenges of dynamic electrolyte monitoring for patients with diabetes insipidus, chronic kidney disease, and traumatic brain injuries, this project aims to develop a real-time electrolyte diagnostic analyzer based on minimally invasive sensor technology. Utilizing an ultra-thin microneedle array to penetrate the stratum corneum, the device will continuously detect sodium (Na⁺), potassium (K⁺) ions, and crystalloid osmotic pressure in human skin interstitial fluid (ISF). By enabling real-time monitoring, it seeks to optimize treatment plans, reduce risks of neurological complications, and minimize trauma and infection risks associated with traditional blood sampling. This innovation provides a transformative solution for early disease warning and precision management.
The project has completed the optimization of microneedle ion-sensitive membrane materials, preliminary integration of the prototype, and validation of its basic performance.
This multi-party collaboration fully demonstrates the advantages of cross-sector resource integration, combining the clinical strengths of Beijing Ditan Hospital, the research capabilities of academic institutions, and the industrial expertise of enterprises. Together, they are accelerating the translation of scientific and technological innovations into clinical applications, benefiting a broader patient population and jointly advancing into a new era of precision medicine.
