Approved for establishment in December 2013, the Department launched its Aesthetic Medicine Clinic under Dermatology in August 2017 and was established as an independent Aesthetic Medicine Department in March 2025, comprising three subdivisions: Aesthetic Dermatology, Aesthetic Dentistry, and Aesthetic Surgery. The Department specializes in treating dermatological conditions and providing rejuvenation therapies for facial and head-neck regions, including: 1. Hyperplastic disorders: flat warts, filiform warts, skin tags, milia, etc.; 2. Inflammatory disorders: acne, rosacea, folliculitis, etc.; 3. Pigmentary disorders: freckles, solar lentigines, melasma, post-acne hyperpigmentation, etc.; 4. Vascular disorders: erythema, telangiectasia, steroid-induced dermatitis, etc.; 5. Scar management: acne scars, atrophic scars, hypertrophic scars, scar prevention. Therapeutic modalities encompass oral medications, topical agents, chemical peels, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), laser therapies, fractional laser, microneedling, and botulinum toxin injections.
