The Department of Otolaryngology (ENT Department) of Beijing Ditan Hospital was established in 2005 as a comprehensive clinical department integrating medical services, teaching, research, and prevention healthcare. Equipped with advanced facilities including hearing assessment instruments and electronic nasopharyngolaryngoscopes, the ENT Department specializes in diagnosing and treating common otolaryngological diseases. It maintains particular focus on clinical and scientific research related to infectious disease-associated otolaryngological conditions.

As one of the affiliated hospitals of Capital Medical University, the ENT department actively engages in scientific research and education, undertaking undergraduate teaching responsibilities. It has conducted one hospital-level scientific research project and published over 60 professional articles in Chinese and English journals, including more than 30 first-author papers, and 8 SCI-indexed publications. In addition, the ENT Department has contributed to the compilation of 7 professional monographs.
