Center of Liver Diseases I

Department I of the Center of Liver Diseases specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of liver disorders, including hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver failure, and hepatocellular carcinoma of varying etiologies. Our team excels in the comprehensive management of liver cirrhosis and its complications—such as portal hypertension, ascites, gastrointestinal bleeding, and hepatic encephalopathy—providing continuous care throughout the disease course. We also offer systematic evaluation and treatment for metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD), along with specialized expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of drug-induced liver injury (DILI), particularly hepatotoxicity related to cancer therapies. Additionally, we conduct in-depth etiological analysis and develop tailored therapeutic strategies for complex liver diseases and cases of unexplained liver injury, ensuring evidence-based, multidisciplinary care for patients with challenging hepatic conditions.
