In August 2024, the Precision Medicine and Translational Medicine Office and the Chronic Disease Management Center of Beijing Ditan Hospital merged to establish the Precision Medicine and Translational Medicine Center.

The Precision Medicine and Translational Medicine Center is dedicated to advancing personalized healthcare and enhancing precision medicine capabilities. Leveraging organizational strengths and fostering synergies, the Center focuses on resource integration, innovation-driven strategies, and smart healthcare solutions. By refining management mechanisms, operational models, and translational workflows, the Center aims to improve medical quality, elevate research standards, and optimize disease outcomes, thereby contributing to high-quality development in the field of infectious diseases. Through its patient management platform, the Center provides intelligent online and offline diagnosis and treatment services. It has established a comprehensive service management system covering all patients at Beijing Ditan Hospital, integrating prevention, treatment, healthcare, and rehabilitation into a unified framework.

In April 2023, Beijing Ditan Hospital was appointed as the second-term governing unit of the Beijing Chronic Disease Prevention and Management Association, reflecting the societal recognition of the hospital’s chronic disease management efforts. As an operational platform, the Precision Medicine and Translational Medicine Center currently offers multi-omics-based early liver cancer screening, NGS-based liquid biopsy (ctDNA) for solid tumors, and NGS-based MRD (minimal residual disease) detection for solid tumors. These services support precise diagnosis and treatment, enable full-cycle intelligent care, and facilitate tailored case management, expanded data analytics, applied medical innovation, and translational research, aligning with the goals of the Healthy China 2030 initiative.
