Beijing Ditan Hospital's National Standardization Pilot Project Passes Final Review
On June 18th, the "Infectious Disease Medical Service Standardization Pilot Project," undertaken by Beijing Ditan Hospital, Capital Medical University, as part of China's eighth batch of national social management and public service standardization initiatives, successfully passed its final review with high standards and quality. This achievement marks significant recognition for the hospital's innovative medical service model centered on "precision, integration, intelligence, collaboration, and outreach."
Since the project's approval, Beijing Ditan Hospital has prioritized standardization efforts, establishing a 3A management system led by senior leadership. The hospital implemented robust mechanisms and supportive policies, laying a solid foundation for the project’s completion.
Focused on HIV, liver cancer, and high-risk populations, the project developed a comprehensive "prevention-diagnosis-follow-up" care standard system comprising 91 standards, including 36 internally formulated by the hospital. During the pilot phase, the hospital strengthened the standards' scientific rigor, applicability, and effectiveness through systematic development, training, and implementation.
After three years of implementation, the hospital successfully transformed its specialized expertise into a replicable standardized service framework, improving medical service quality and efficiency.
Moving forward, Beijing Ditan Hospital will leverage this milestone to further refine its medical service model, uphold its role as a national medical center, and continuously optimize standards to advance infectious disease care in China.
